Dear Daryll Hall and John Oates- Thanks for all you do to help our Earth. Hands Across the River, a New Bedford MA based environmental citizens group is having its 10th anniversary on August 19, 2001 in New Bedford and would like to invite you to perform at our celebration. We will be honoring individuals who have helped in extraordinary ways to bring about important environmental changes. Hands Across the River citizens group was instrumental in halting PCB incineration that had been proposed as a "solution" to remediating the PCB pollution in the Acushnet River.
